Communications

It is the goal of the Medical Society to communicate with our membership in the most effective manner possible.  A segment of our membership prefers to receive material only in the mail, others prefer receiving distributive faxes, other still prefer email to all other forms of communication.  Whatever your preference, we're here to serve YOU!

The Society's publications are the more traditional tools by which we serve members.  These are as follows:

THE NCMS NOTES

The goal of The NCMS Notes, a monthly newsletter, is to provide physicians and their staff with the latest information on issues relevant to the business of medicine. 

COASTAL BEND MEDICINE MAGAZINE

The Coastal Bend Medicine journal is the official publication of the Nueces County Medical Society.  Published bimonthly, the CBM is mailed to over 1000 readers throughout South Texas.  The  Magazine contains clinical and non-clinical articles related to medical practice, human-interest stories, and organizational information.

Unsolicited articles may be submitted for consideration to the Editor, Ed Garcia, MD, 1000 Morgan Avenue, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404 or sdavis@nuecesmedsociety.org. 

Editorial policy is provided by the NCMS Editorial Board:
